Spring 2010
Hey evryone. Long time no update but at last the updates are beginning! At this point it's become a huge project, but I have been so busy writing, I just couldn't spare the time. However, I now have updating planned into my schedule, so that long hiatus should not reoccur. Thanks so much for your patience.
My big news of the moment is Tuckers Claim, Book three of the Hell's Eight series, was chosen as a Romantic Times BOOKreviews top pick for October. Woo hoo!
Also coming in October is Caleb, Book One of the Shadow Wranglers. Hot sexy cowboy Vamps! What's not to love? <G> This series is fast paced, laugh out loud funny and fist clenching tense. Allie is a heroine who just grabbed my heart with her spirit of adventure and Caleb's ability to meet her on her own ground completely won me over.
Also, Tails of Love is out! I was so honored to be included in this fabulous Anthology . I warn you up front though, my contribution, Danny's Dog is a real heart wrencher which might have you sobbing before you smile. All the authors proceeds from this anthology are donated to a wonderful animal shelter so not only do you get 12 fabulous reads, your money goes to a very worthwhile cause!
Here's a quick overview of upcoming books and series.
REAPER'S JUSTICE and REAPER'S VOW. These books begin a Western Historical werewolf romance series in which deadly men move beyond the hell they've been living and head West in search of the person they once were, yet barely remember. This series has it all, laughter, angst, tortured heroes and the women that bring them "home" to the dreams they've forgotten. This series is scheduled to come out in 2010.
The Promise Series (Western Historical) has gone mainstream! Starting with The Rev's story, this series that's widely popular with readers of all genres and has been described as Deadwood meets erotic romance by readers will be published through Berkley Sensation. This series features the bad boys of the Old West who meet their matches in the unexpected women they meet in the most unexpected places. These alphas are men hardened by life with temperaments honed to a ruthless edge by their experiences, yet who still harbor a bone deep sense of honor that earns them the reward of the one woman who can tap into their hearts. Each woman is as individual as the man she completes, but for a man who has never expected more than a violent end for doing the right thing in this life, they are a gift beyond price and there's nothing they won't do to keep them safe, happy and above all, theirs. Promises Decide will be out in 2010.
The second book in my my exciting new werewolf paranormal series, Wild Instincts is releasing in December. Each anthology will feature three stories that build on each other as these men fighting for their place as they straddle the line between the very different human and werewolf worlds. Tough and intense, I know you're going to love them.
In October, the third book in the Hell's Eight releases from SPICE with the title Tucker's Claim.. It's a super-hot, fast-paced romance with a strong heroine, a hero to die for, and a happily ever after that will touch your heart. Like my Promise series, Hell's Eight probably is not what a reader thinks of when they think Western Historical, but each of these stories is a slice of life rich with emotion, spiced with passion, and filled with moments I hope will make your heart twist. The men of Hell's Eight are unpredictable and fascinating. They're definitely a law unto themselves, as wild as the West in which they live. Determined, and single-minded, they've planned for every contingency that could complicate their goals except for the one they never saw coming: the extraordinary women that will capture their hearts.
I'm asked constantly about the Unchained and the Others series and whether I intend to continue them. I love those series, but at this time they are on hold, but I do have every intention of writing them. The when depends on how I can rework the series to not include the original intended second books and then finding a home for them.
